The microchip stores the personal and biometric information of the passport holder, such as name, date of birth, photo, signature, fingerprints and iris scan. The e-passport delivery time in Bangladesh may vary depending on the type of application, the passport office location and the workload of the printing center. If you need your e-passport urgently, you can opt for the super express service, which delivers your e-passport within 2 working days. However, this service is only available for applicants who have already a MRP passport without changing their permanent address. You can check the status of your e-passport application online by entering either your Application ID or Online Registration ID on the Status Check page on the e-passport portal home page.
